David Gramberg has come a long way since he became bandleader of Mary Lou. Together with the indie band from Bavaria, he recorded his first studio album May Be April and conquered many stages all over Germany. As a sideline, David experimented with different genres, instruments and sounds, exploring the infinite fields of music in countless playful studio sessions. This evolved into Elephalooka - a garage rock project, which resulted in the eclectic Rubber Room Break EP.
Somewhere in between these projects, the idea for Autumn Comes was born. The autumn song, which was a hair away from not being released at all, is now used on more Instagram Reels than 'Autumn Leaves' by Ed Sheeran, 'bad guy' by Billie Eilish, or 'drivers license' by Olivia Rodrigo. As the single was featured on bigger radio stations, it also reached the German artist JORIS, who instantly invited David’s band to join him as opening act on tour.
Now David Gramberg is striking a new path. His debut single Raise My Bet, which was also captured in a cheerful Live Session, marked the energetic prelude. His second single What Do I Know came along with an astonishing Video Clip and was followed by a dreamy Remix in cooperation with the Deep House duo Tonic Walter. David's pockets are filled with musical treasures - carefully grown, matured and ready to get carried out into the world. His charisma is firmly rooted in the bond to his homeland, the desire to burst these boundaries and an approachability that can not only be sensed in his lyrics. With a delicate dedication to detail, David's music finds a balance between melancholy, clear statements and the beautiful things that are worth living for. His songs as well as his voice have recognition value – and something to tell.
